Beyond Bounds · GLOW!

Held biennially since 1992, the Beyond Bounds benefit auction has continued and artists across the country (and the world) receive a special medium.  With each event, they employ their considerable talents to create a unique work of art.  For our eighth event, we celebrate the 40th (Ruby) Anniversary of Johnson County Community College, and the second anniversary of the Nerman Museum. GLOW! is also the first Beyond Bounds to be held in the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art!

120 participating artists received 8 different media (pastel, oil pastel, colored pencil, ceramic underglaze, oil paint, watercolor, textile dye and liquid acrylic) in the color Ruby Red. Once again, the extraordinary talent and generosity of these artists resulted in an astonishing array of art. Additionally, a major color catalogue will accompany this important fundraiser.
