WILD LIFE!

The Nerman Museum’s celebration WILD LIFE! on Sep. 9, 2023, honors the 30-year legacy of Bruce Hartman, the Museum’s Founding Executive Director and Chief Curator, and launches our highly anticipated 30thanniversary publication.

This exhibition showcases the concise selection of curated artworks available for purchase at the Sep. 9 auction. Artists confirmed for the auction include Julie Buffalohead, Ebony G. Patterson, Lauren Quin, Paul Anthony Smith, Leo Villareal, and Summer Wheat – exceptional artists who have demonstrated their support of the Nerman Museum’s mission through their gifts.

WILD LIFE! proceeds support the restoration of Leo Villareal’s light sculpture, Microcosm, which is prominently built into the architecture of the Museum’s front entrance, as well as Museum Education.
